The main application area of detonating cords LSHV is transmission of detonation in exposed and non-exposed gun perforating systems used for perforating operations in oil and gas wells:

  • Completion by wireline perforation with exposed and non-exposed gun perforating systems;
  • Completion by TCP;
  • As a part of a split-shot during emergency works;
  • As a part of a firing head, tubing cutter and other equipment.

Detonation booster

Bi-Directional Booster-PP is designed for transmission of detonation pulse from one segment of detonating cord to another between sections of hollow-carrier perforating systems, as well as for transmission of detonation pulse from percussion detonator in a firing head to detonating cord in a perforating gun.

Bi-Directional Booster-PP is used during perforating operations in oil and gas wells at temperatures up to 200 °C (392 °F) during 1 hour. More details

Detonating Cord Manufacturing
The detonating cord, manufactured according to innovative technology, conforms to the quality standards of the world leading manufacturers and is far ahead of Russian analogues. Detonation velocity and the quality of detonation of the cords are higher compared with similar products of other manufacturers.

The technology based on using the wet method for manufacturing considerably improves the safety of the entire manufacturing process and excludes void formation in the cord core. The diameter of the detonating cord is compatible with modern perforating-explosive equipment of most manufacturers.

Preparation of slurry
Preparation of explosive slurry in water is carried out with the use of RDX or HMX explosive material and different chemicals.

Braiding and drying
At this stage, the slurry goes to a braiding machine. Damp explosive core is over-braided with a polyester sock and then it goes to the drying cabinet through the diameter control sensors and is being dried for at least 4 hours.

Control of the semi-product
Dried semi-finished detonating cord undergoes quality control where they inspect the sheathing completeness and the diameter of the semi-product.

Covering and coloring
Inspected semi-finished cord passes coating stage with the use of extrusion process. At this stage, the semi-finished cord is covered with nylon resin Zytel or polyamide together with the colorant. The colorant gives the final color to the cord.

Compaction
In order to improve explosive characteristics, the cord, covered with the nylon resin Zytel or polyamide, is compacted. During compaction process the explosive is uniformly spread throughout the length of the cord.

Quality control
After compaction, the detonating cord LSHV undergoes quality control including labeling and trouble-shooting in the cord coating (e.g. cracks, sags).

Packing
Finally, after quality control the detonating cord LSHV is cut to length, wound into coils and packed in corrugated cardboard boxes.
DetoCord Cutter-M Detotex
DetoCord Cutter-M Detotex is designed for cutting all the types of detonating cords and waveguides of nonelectric blasting from 1.0 mm to 6.0 mm (from 0.04" to 0.24") diameter. The modified cutter has guides providing the perpendicularity of the cut plane to the axis of the cord.

Each cutter is packed in an individual fabric case and is completed with a spare blade and a product sheet with the manual.
DetoCord Crimper-M Detotex
Crimping pliers DetoCord Crimper-M Detotex are designed for secure fixation of the booster with the diameter from 6.0 mm to 7.5 mm (from 0.24" to 0.3") at the ends of the detonating cord segments.

Each crimping tool is completed with a product sheet with the manual.
Multipurpose device PULSE
The device is designed to produce a high-frequency electrical pulse of AC or DC pulse to initiate electric detonators and igniters of any type
  • Moisture prevention IP43
  • The presence of a built-in battery, the possibility of power supply from the 220V network, from the on-board network of cars and trucks
  • Recording of individual datable report files on a removable SD card
  • Minimum amplitude value of the output current pulse: at the beginning of the pulse
  • not less than 3 A, after 10 ms from the beginning of the pulse
  • not less than 2 A in all operating modes
  • Current pulse filling frequency: (15±0.1) kHz in high-frequency pulse output mode
  •  Current pulse duration: at least 20 ms in all operating modes

Detotest-1 Detotex
The device is designed to monitor the performance of two different types of initiation means:
  • insensitive explosive safety-action cartridges of the PVPD-N type, including electric detonators EDPN-M, A-150T.
  • sealed cartridges PGN-150(165).

Ground-based geophysical indicator device PING

The device is designed to register the fact of activation of perforation-explosive equipment lowered on TCP or wireline.

The device Includes:
  • The transmitting unit  fastening at the wellhead on a pipe with a diameter of 60 to 114 mm;
  • Autonomous battery power supply of the transmitting unit;
  • Communication between the transmitting and receiving units via a dedicated radio channel at a distance of 100 m and does not require a cable, the cable is supplied upon separate order;
  • Own PINGviewer software for Windows OS with the ability to output results in PDF format.
